Health Care Services Not Provided by Healthy San Francisco

Healthy San Francisco is a limited health care program provided by the City and County of San Francisco to uninsured residents only. Healthy San Francisco is not health insurance and does not provide everything that insurance does.

Where you can go for medical services, what services are included in the program, how much the participant fees and medical services cost, and even who can participate in the program may change based on City guidelines.

For these, and many other reasons, if you can get health insurance, you should do so. Healthy San Francisco is a program of last resort for San Francisco residents who cannot get health insurance.

There are certain services that are not included in Healthy San Francisco. The list on the next page is a partial list of services that are not included in Healthy San Francisco.
