*Effective July 1, 2011, over 10,000 Healthy San Francisco participants were transitioned to a new program called San Francisco Provides Access to Healthcare (SF PATH). SF PATH is a new federally-supported health access program that provides affordable health care services for some low income people living in San Francisco. The program was created in preparation for the implementation of federal health reform. The Healthy San Francisco Program Stats for July 23, 2011 and going forward will reflect this 10,000 reduction in Healthy San Francisco enrollment. New enrollment in Healthy San Francisco has not ceased, but total Healthy San Francisco enrollment has decreased as a result of the transfer of over 10,000 former Healthy San Francisco participants into SF PATH.
